Natural Remedies To Brighten Dark Underarms Fast

Dark underarms, also known as Axillary Hyperdosis cause embarrassment especially when you want to wear sleeveless or short sleeve outfits. Underarm darkening is a very common problem and is characterized by the discoloration of the skin in the armpits. 
The main causes of dark underarms are shaving, hair removal creams, sweating, excessive weight, use of alcohol based deodorants and perfumes and a lot more.
However there are times that dark and sweaty underarms may also be a result of a medical condition that is known as acanthosis nigricans which is often associated with insulin resistance, hormonal disorders, certain medications, obesity and cancer.
Here are the ways on how to brighten dark underarms naturally:
1. Baking Soda
Mix Baking Soda and water to make a thick paste and scrub it on your underarms.Wash it with water and dry the area thoroughly.If you repeat it few times a week it will also neutralize the odor.
2. Coconut Oil
Apply the coconut oil and massage on the dark underarms. Leave it for about 10 to 15 minutes and then wash it afterwards with mild soap warm water. Repeat two to three times daily until you achieve the desired results.
3. Cucumber
Extract the juice from a cucumber and mix it with small amount of turmeric powder and lemon juice and apply the paste on the dark area. Leave it for about 30 minutes and then wash it with warm water or simply rub a small slice of cucumber on your underarms.
4. Gram flour
Mix together two tablespoons of gram flour, one teaspoon each of plain yogurt and lemon juice, and a small amount of turmeric powder to make a thick paste.
Apply it on your underarms . Leave it for about 30 minutes and the rinse well with warm water. For best results repeat three times a week.
5. Lemon
Lemon works as a powerful antibacterial, antiseptic agent and a natural bleach. Rub a lemon cut on the dark part for atleast 10 minutes then rinse with water the area thoroughly. For better exfoliation, you can put a small amount of sugar on the lemon cut an d then scrub it. For best results do this a few times a week.

6. Milk
Mix two tablespoons of full fat milk, one teaspoon of plain yogurt and one tablespoon flour to make a thick paste. Apply it on your underarms and leave it for about 15 minutes and rinse it with cold water. For best results repeat it few times a week.
7. Orange Peel
Dry some orange peel under the sun for a few days until they become dry totally.Grind the peels into powder form and mix it with milk and a enough rose water and milk to make a thick paste.
8. Potato
Rub a small slice of cut potato on your underarms or grate the potato and apply the juice to the affected area, allow it to dry for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse it with water.
9. Sandal Wood
Mix a sufficient rose water and two tablespoons of sandalwood powder to make a thick paste then apply it on the dark area and leave for about 15 minutes or wait until it dries. Rinse it with cold water, for best results repeat it daily.
10. Vinegar
Mix vinegar with rice flour to make a thick paste. Take a shower first before applying it on your underarms. Let it stay for about 10 to 15 minutes and rinse it with water. Repeat it few times a week.
