8 FOODS YOU SHOULD NEVER EAT IF YOU HAVE JOINT PAIN

Joint pain can be characterized from mild to severe, acute or chronic. It can cause discomfort, pain or inflammation from any part of a joint.
The main causes of joint pain are gout, arthritis, injuries, broken or dislocated bones, lupus, and fibromyalgia. If you are among those who suffer from it, then you should try and avoid certain foods that aggravate the inflammation.
Here are eight foods you should avoid to help keep joint pain at bay:

Red and processed meat
Red and processed meats contain purines and nitrates that can aggravate the pain and influence the inflammation. These substances can worsen the condition and can also boost the risk of cancer.
Sugar
The processed foods trigger the release of inflammatory messengers that are known as cytokines. This includes sugar in candy, sodas and cereals and other snacks. Excess sugar in the body also puts pressure on the joints and can lead to weight gain.
Corn oil
Try to avoid corn oil and other types of oil that contain omega 6 fatty acids. These oils can cause inflammation, thus try to avoid salad dressings, peanuts, soy, and grape seed oil. Replace those foods which contain omega-6 fatty acids with alternatives that contain the anti-inflammatory omega-3. Take flax seed, pumpkin seeds, and olive oil instead.
Salt
Most packaged and pre-made foods contain excessive amounts of salt and other preservatives in order to promote longer shelf lives. Refined salt is high in additives and chemicals that disrupt the fluid balance in the body. Pay attention to what’s in your food. Avoid junk food and microwaveable meals. If you want to use salt when cooking. Replace your table salt with Pink Himalayan Sea salt.

Alcohol
Too much consumption of alcohol will negatively impact on your joint pain. There are purines and gluten in beer which are converted into uric acid when they enter the body. This is highly detrimental for the health, and harmful and fragile to the joints.
Dairy products
They are highly inflammatory foods. Many adults have difficulty digesting it and if dairy is made a large part of their diets it can cause inflammatory response. Keep them away from your diet if you suffer from joint pain.
Refined carbohydrates
Products made of white flour like crackers and bread, white potatoes, many cereals, and white rice are refined carbohydrates which is the main cause of obesity and chronic conditions. These foods contain high glycemic index and fuel the production of AGE and it stimulates inflammation.
Monosodium glutamate
This is a flavour enhancing additive that is commonly found in soy sauce and Asian foods. Nonetheless, it can also be found in fast food meals, prepared soups, and soup mixes, salad dressing and deli meats. Monosodium glutamate can worsen the pain and trigger inflammation.
