Brown spots on the face are a common problem among people. Hyperpigmentation, commonly known as darkening on an area of skin, occurs due to the increased production of melanocytes, cells which increase melanin in the skin, resulting in darker skin.

Buttermilk
Buttermilk is a great source of lactic acid which can help reduce the aging spots. It does not cause side effects and is highly beneficial for people with sensitive skin. Apply it on the affected area using a cotton ball and let it dry. Finally rinse it off. You may also mix it with honey and apply it on the affected area. Another option is to mix it with tomato juice as they both act like bleaching agents.
Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera has healing properties and aids skin regeneration. So, it is excellent for getting rid of brown spots, especially when caused by sun exposure. Apply fresh Aloe Vera juice on the affected area and leave it for 30 minutes. Finally, rinse it off thoroughly. Repeat the treatment on daily basis for optimal results.
Oats
Oats is considered as the best natural exfoliating agent which guarantees effective removal of the dead skin and dark skin patches. Grind ½ cup of oats and mix it with 2-3 tablespoons. of lemon juice. Rub it on the affected spots and let it dry. Finally, rinse it off with lukewarm water.
Lemon juice
Lemon is rich in vitamin C, this citrus fruit is highly beneficial for improving the skin quality and providing lighter complexion. Simply squeeze lemon juice and apply it on the skin with a cotton swab. Let it dry and then rinse it off with water. In case you have sensitive skin, it would be advisable to dilute the lemon juice in some water before use.
